Vampire Savior - the lord of vampire

About this game

Vampire Savior - the lord of vampire (released overseas as Darkstalkers 3) is a gothic fantasy 2D arcade fighting game developed by Capcom in 1997 on CPS3 hardware, the third main entry of the Darkstalkers franchise. The story follows Jedah, the dark lord awakened after a century of slumber. The Makai demon realm is collapsing, and Jedah plans to merge all souls into one single entity. Various supernatural monsters fight for their fates. Four new playable characters are added: Jedah, Lilith, Q-Bee and Baby Bonnie Hood, alongside returning fan favorites like Morrigan, Demitri and Felicia. The game abandons traditional round format and adopts a damage gauge system. It introduces the iconic Dark Force system, which consumes super meter to activate unique character power-up transformations. Using 6-button controls, it features fluid sprite animations, air combos and pursuit attacks, paired with gorgeous gothic pixel art. Later ported to Sega Saturn and PlayStation. It is a peak monster-themed fighting title from Capcom in the 90s and holds a cult reputation among fighting game communities.

Controls

The rows above are buttons 1–6 on the board: on Neo Geo boards (The King of Fighters and friends) A/B/C/D are buttons 1–4, Metal Slug uses only 1, 2 and 4 (shoot / jump / grenade), and Pac-Man uses none at all. Six-button fighters with three punches and three kicks (Street Fighter II and the like) get a different layout from the core: light punch U, medium punch I, heavy punch Q, light kick J, medium kick K, heavy kick E. Click the gamepad icon 🎮 in the player toolbar, then “Remap keys” to open the emulator’s own control settings (keyboard and gamepad, saved automatically). Gamepads are detected automatically.
