About this game

The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons is an action-adventure game developed by Capcom and published by Nintendo, released for the Game Boy Color in 2001. It launched alongside Oracle of Ages as twin games of the Oracle series. Guided by the Triforce, Link arrives in the land of Holodrum. The dark general Onox kidnaps Din, the Oracle of Seasons, throwing the world’s seasons into chaos. Link obtains the Rod of Seasons, which lets him switch between four seasons when standing on special stumps. Changing seasons reshapes the landscape: blooming flowers in spring, lowered water levels in summer, cleared obstacles in autumn, and frozen lakes in winter, unlocking new paths and puzzles. This entry focuses more on combat action. Players collect items, mystical seeds, dozens of magic rings and summon animal companions. Oracle of Seasons features password linking with Oracle of Ages. By exchanging passwords after beating one game, players can unlock the true ending and extra secret content, making it a landmark classic Zelda title for the GBC.
