About this game

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past & Four Swords is a 2-in-1 action-adventure cartridge for Game Boy Advance, co-developed by Nintendo and Capcom and released in 2002. It packs two separate games. A Link to the Past is an enhanced portable port of the legendary SNES title. The story follows Link saving Princess Zelda, traveling between the Light World and Dark World of Hyrule, gathering three pendants to draw the Master Sword and fight Agahnim and Ganon. The GBA port adds the Hurricane Spin attack, exclusive bonus dungeon Palace of the Four Sword and riddle side quest. The bundled Four Swords is the first multiplayer Zelda game, originally multiplayer-only. Up to four players control differently colored Links; the Four Sword splits Link into clones. Players cooperate to solve puzzles, collect rupees and defeat the wind sorcerer Vaati, with friendly rupee competition between teammates. It retains classic pixel art and save support, and a Chinese fan translation patch exists. Four Swords later got an Anniversary Edition with single-player mode. This title is also available on Nintendo Switch Online GBA library, a classic Zelda package combining epic single-player adventure and multiplayer fun.
