About this game

Submachine 3: The Loop is a Flash point-and-click puzzle browser game created by Polish indie developer Mateusz Skutnik, released in August 2006. It is the third chapter of the Submachine series. Picking up after Submachine 2: The Lighthouse, the player is teleported into a mysterious endless looping space and trapped inside a maze of recurring rooms. The most distinctive feature of this entry is **no inventory system**. No items need to be collected. All puzzles rely on observing room coordinates, symbols, dials, numeric codes and environmental logic. Travel between similar repeating chambers, pull levers, rotate discs and input codes to alter spatial connections and break the time loop. It retains the hand-sketched art style and cold, lonely sci-fi atmosphere. The puzzles focus heavily on abstract logical reasoning, departing from traditional item-collecting escape gameplay. The game was later remastered and included in Submachine: Legacy collection.
