About this game

Silent Hill Mobile (released in North America as Silent Hill: Orphan) is Konami’s survival‑horror point‑and‑click adventure for J2ME feature phones, developed by Gamefederation Studio and released November 2007. It opens the Silent Hill Orphan mobile trilogy, set inside a derelict orphanage deep within Silent Hill and planting core plot hooks about the old orphanage fire tragedy. Presented in first‑person static‑scene click‑based exploration, players navigate cursors to examine environments, collect items and manage inventory. It faithfully implements the classic Silent Hill dimension shift between normal reality and grotesque Otherworld. Players explore grim dormitories, hallways and bathrooms, gather clues and solve environmental puzzles. During monster encounters, the cursor turns into a shooting crosshair with strictly limited ammunition. Psychological horror is built through gloomy visuals, unsettling audio and fragmented storytelling, ending with major unresolved plot threads leading directly into the sequel. Originally released mainly for European markets without official Chinese localization. Fan‑translated Chinese JAR builds circulate domestically and are playable via Java emulators, marking the first official Silent Hill horror title for J2ME.
