Asphalt 4: Elite Racing

Asphalt 4: Elite Racing is Gameloft’s landmark arcade racing title released July 2008 for J2ME, N‑Gage, iOS and other mobile platforms. The J2ME port was optimized for keypad‑based Java feature phones with multiple resolution variants. It keeps the classic Asphalt gameplay loop: earn nitro through drifts and airborne stunts, and features the iconic police‑wanted pursuit system, where reckless driving triggers roadblocks and helicopter chases. Career mode includes dozens of events such as standard races, drift challenges, cop chases and elimination matches. Prize money unlocks and tunes licensed cars and motorcycles including Bugatti Veyron, Ferrari F430 and Ducati bikes. Races take place across six global city circuits including Shanghai, Paris, Monte‑Carlo and Dubai, with select tracks featuring rainy weather conditions. Keypad controls and Bluetooth local multiplayer are supported. Fan‑made Chinese JAR builds circulated widely domestically and are playable via Java emulators, remaining a beloved classic from the feature‑phone era.

These are the default keys. These keys are fixed by FreeJ2ME; what each one does inside a game is up to the game. There are no on-screen buttons on phones, so you will need a keyboard or a gamepad. This engine has no rebinding menu. Gamepads are detected automatically.
