About this game

Asphalt:Nitro for J2ME is Gameloft’s arcade racing title released in 2015 for Java feature phones. It is built upon the codebase of Asphalt 6: Adrenaline J2ME, targeting keypad‑based feature‑phone hardware. It retains classic Asphalt gameplay: earn nitro via drifting, airborne stunts and takedowns. Multi‑stage nitro boosts deliver high‑speed bursts. The returning Wanted system triggers police pursuits for reckless driving, and getting busted ends the race. Career mode spans seven seasons with diverse event types. Race‑earned currency unlocks and upgrades licensed cars in four stats plus custom paint options. The J2ME port contains only ten licensed vehicles and features an exclusive Tokyo‑themed track. Keypad controls and Bluetooth local multiplayer are supported. Fan‑made Chinese JAR builds circulated domestically, playable through Java emulators, marking one of the later great Gameloft racing releases for feature‑phone era.
