About this game

Minecraft Java Edition 1.8, officially called **The Bountiful Update**, released on September 2, 2014. It is one of the landmark updates in Minecraft history. This update added Ocean Monuments, Guardians and Elder Guardians, along with prismarine, sea lanterns, slime blocks, banners, armor stands, granite, andesite, diorite and many other new blocks. New mobs including rabbits and endermites, plus mutton were added. Spectator game mode was introduced, together with many powerful commands like /fill, /clone and /particle, greatly empowering map makers and redstone creators. It refactored the block rendering system, and 1.8 remains a classic version widely used by PVP servers and classic mods.
