Tiny Toon Adventures 2: Trouble in Wackyland

Tiny Toon Adventures 2: Trouble in Wackyland, known to Chinese retro gamers as Rabbit Baby Adventure 2, is a side-scrolling platformer developed and published by Konami for Famicom in 1992, the direct sequel to the first Tiny Toon game, adapted from Warner Bros’ Tiny Toon Adventures cartoon series. The villain Montana Max pretends to be a secret admirer and invites all friends from Acme Acres to a brand-new amusement park, which is actually a trap. Buster Bunny and his pals must beat all amusement park attractions and expose the villain’s plot. It completely abandons the transformation mechanic of the first game. There are five attraction-themed stages, and players can tackle the first four stages in any order. The four main stages feature different playable characters: Plucky Duck in bumper car stage, Hamton Pig on the train, Babs Bunny riding rollercoaster, and Furrball the cat on log raft whitewater ride. Each attraction has distinct gameplay rules. A ticket system is introduced: entering stages consumes tickets, and high scores reward extra tickets. Gather enough tickets to unlock the final funhouse castle and fight the final boss Montana Max. Characters gain dash and drop kick attacks. The game uses a health system instead of one-hit death, offering more forgiving difficulty. Enemies include the classic rat Roderick and other cartoon foes. It features vibrant pixel art, with varied cheerful soundtracks for each ride. Widely distributed on Subor multicarts in China, it remains a beloved cartoon platform classic on the Famicom.
