Cube Escape: Case 23

Cube Escape: Case 23 is a point-and-click escape puzzle game developed by Dutch studio Rusty Lake. It is the fifth installment of the Cube Escape series, released in 2015, originally launched as a free web game and later ported to mobile devices. Set in 1971, players take on the role of detective Dale Vandermeer, investigating the mysterious death of Laura. The game is divided into four chapters: crime scene, police archive, mysterious chapel and cabin by Rusty Lake. Players collect physical evidence, photos and memory cubes, solve riddles including symbols, jigsaws and password puzzles, uncovering the secrets linking Laura and Rusty Lake. Shadow creatures threaten the player, and chapter four features a timed escape sequence. This entry introduces detective Dale to the main Rusty Lake storyline, connecting core characters such as Laura and Mr. Crow, and reveals the gateway into the world of Rusty Lake.
