Asphalt 6: Adrenaline for J2ME is Gameloft’s arcade‑style racing title released August 2011 for Java feature phones. Rebuilt in 2D to fit low‑end keypad mobile hardware, it adapts the core gameplay from the high‑end 3D mobile release. Players earn nitro by drifting and performing jumps. Fully‑charged nitro triggers the signature Adrenaline mode for top speed and vehicle‑crashing attacks. It features career leagues, race, time‑attack and elimination events, with a 5‑star scoring system to unlock cars and tracks. Car and track rosters are reduced compared with 3D editions, featuring real‑world‑location circuits including Shanghai, Tokyo, Monaco and Cape Town. Keypad‑only controls and local Bluetooth multiplayer are supported. Fan‑translated Chinese JAR builds circulated widely domestically, playable via Java emulators, and remains a beloved racing classic of the feature‑phone era.
