It is a self‑contained mobile special edition, not a port of PC The Sims 3: Ambitions expansion pack, playable without base game installation. Multi‑resolution JAR builds support keypad‑based Java handsets. Centered on career progression, it retains core life‑sim mechanics: create sims, manage daily needs, build relationships and customize housing. This edition adds distinctive career paths including rock star, fashion designer, artist and sports celebrity, paired with career‑focused minigames, exclusive outfits, furniture and a brand‑new festival town area. Sims socialize with coworkers, deal with rivals and complete career‑specific wishes for promotions. Constrained by J2ME hardware, it uses 2D pixel graphics and omits many PC‑exclusive professions such as firefighter and ghost hunter. Originally released in English only with no official Chinese localization. Fan‑translated Chinese JAR packages circulate domestically and are playable via Java emulators, representing a career‑themed spin‑off of The Sims franchise for feature‑phone era.
