Kingdom Rush

Kingdom Rush, known in China as Royal Guard, is a fantasy tower defense Flash game developed by Uruguay-based Ironhide Game Studio, released July 2011 on Armor Games. It is the first entry of the Kingdom Rush franchise and one of the most acclaimed Flash strategy games. Set in the fantasy kingdom of Linirea, the dark lord Vez'Nan invades with orcs, trolls, undead and demons. Players build towers on designated spots along enemy paths to halt incoming waves. Four core tower types: archers, barracks, mages and artillery, each with multiple upgrade branches and unique abilities. Deploy meteor strike and reinforcement spells, plus movable hero units with special skills. The campaign includes 14 stages across forests, snowfields and wastelands, alongside Hero Mode and Iron Challenge hard difficulty modes. There are over 35 enemy types, flying units, stealth foes and epic boss battles. Stars earned from levels unlock permanent global upgrades, plus dozens of achievements. Hand-drawn cartoon art and epic original soundtrack. The original Flash SWF can be played with Ruffle emulator, later ported to mobile, PC and consoles, spawning multiple sequels.
