About this game

Boxhead: The Zombie Wars is a top-down zombie survival Flash shooter created by Sean Cooper and released in 2008, the fifth and most acclaimed entry of the Boxhead series. It features two core game modes: Classic Mode and Defense Mode. Classic Mode keeps the free-roam combat from earlier games, while Defense Mode introduces base-building mechanics, allowing players to place barricades, auto turrets and mortars to set up defensive lines. Players control Jon Bambo and fight six enemy types including regular zombies, runners, vampires, mummies, devils and golems. Kill monsters to raise combo multiplier and unlock a huge arsenal ranging from pistols, shotguns, miniguns, railguns all the way to nuclear air strikes. There are 8 playable maps and multiple difficulty levels: normal, expert and nightmare. WASD for movement, mouse to aim and shoot, number keys for quick weapon swap. The graphics get a major upgrade while retaining the iconic box character art. It blends shooting action with tower defense building, a hit classic Flash zombie survival game on CrazyMonkeyGames.
