Boxhead: The Rooms
About this game
Boxhead: The Rooms is a top-down zombie survival Flash shooter created by Sean Cooper and released on Newgrounds in 2006, the second title of the Boxhead series. Players control Jon Bambo, the box-headed hero. Pick one of five arena rooms and fight endless waves of zombies and devils in enclosed battlefields. You start only with a pistol. Build up kill combos by eliminating enemies quickly. Higher combo multiplier unlocks shotguns, UZI, rocket launchers, railguns, grenades and weapon upgrades including larger ammo capacity and faster fire rate. Explosive barrels and supply crates scatter across maps. Enemies keep spawning with increasing difficulty. WASD for movement, mouse to aim and shoot. There is no final ending; your goal is to survive as long as possible and chase high scores. With simple block pixel graphics and fast-paced endless survival gameplay, it is a well-known classic zombie Flash game widely spread on browser game portals.
