Silent Hill: Origins

Silent Hill: Origins (called Silent Hill: Zero in Japan) is a survival horror game developed by Climax Studios and published by Konami. It originally launched on PSP and later ported to PS2, serving as a prequel set seven years before the first Silent Hill. You take the role of trucker Travis Grady. After saving the girl Alessa from a burning house near Silent Hill, he becomes trapped in the foggy town. Players can travel between the fog world and the Other World through mirrors, collect items to solve puzzles and fight monsters manifested from trauma. Melee weapons have limited durability, with new QTE block and barricade mechanics. The soundtrack is composed by Akira Yamaoka. The story reveals the ritual of Alessa and Travis’ repressed childhood trauma, with multiple endings available.
