Fireboy & Watergirl 2: In the Light Temple

Fireboy & Watergirl 2: In the Light Temple is a cooperative puzzle platform browser game developed by Oslo Albert, released in October 2010. It is the second installment of the Fireboy and Watergirl series. Originally created with Flash and later remade into HTML5. Players can control both characters by themselves or play with a partner to guide Fireboy and Watergirl through the Light Temple full of light puzzles. Fireboy survives lava but dies in water. Watergirl can walk in water safely but gets burned by lava. Green toxic slime is deadly for both characters. This sequel introduces the core light reflection puzzles. Move mirrors to redirect light beams and hit sensors to open doors and activate moving platforms. It also features dark levels, where most of the stage is shrouded in darkness, only characters and key mechanisms glow, raising the puzzle difficulty significantly. There are 40 levels in total. Classic elements including levers, boxes and pressure plates return. Collect red, blue and white gems, and guide Fireboy and Watergirl to their respective exits to clear each level. Simple cartoon graphics and split keyboard controls. The game emphasizes logical thinking and teamwork, and it is a well-known classic 2-player browser puzzle game.
