Castle Wolfenstein is the original WWII top‑down stealth‑action adventure developed by Muse Software, first released 1981 and ported to MS‑DOS in 1984. Its iconic disguise mechanic lets you steal German uniforms from fallen enemies to sneak past patrolling guards; alarms will trigger immediately once your cover is blown. Gameplay includes lock‑picking, scavenging scarce ammo and supplies, evading deadly SS troops. No save system is available; death forces full restart.
