The Binding of Isaac: Wrath of the Lamb

The Binding of Isaac: Wrath of the Lamb is the official DLC expansion for the original Flash version of The Binding of Isaac, developed by Edmund McMillen and Florian Himsl, released on May 28, 2012. It is a top-down roguelike bullet hell dungeon crawler and requires the base game to run. Story: A little boy Isaac flees into the basement from his mother’s religious fanaticism. He fights grotesque monsters in procedurally-generated dungeons and confronts his inner trauma. This DLC expands the original game’s content by roughly 50%. Major additions: 1. New playable characters: Magdalene (starts with Yum Heart healing item) and Samson the Berserker. 2. New chapter Cathedral, final boss The Lamb and multiple new endings. 3. Brand-new item category: Trinkets. It also introduces Curses, which apply random debuffs to runs and raise difficulty. 4. Over 20 new enemies, more than 15 bosses, new room layouts, collectibles such as cards and eternal hearts, 10 challenge modes and 24 Steam achievements. Core gameplay: Every run creates a randomly generated dungeon with permadeath; if you die, the run ends. WASD to move, mouse to aim and fire tears. Clear rooms of monsters, open treasure chests to pick up items. Items have synergies that alter stats, attack style and visual effects. Special rooms include shops, secret rooms, Devil Rooms and Angel Rooms.
