Hello everyone, the development progress update is here this week! I have sorted out the recent new features, optimizations and issues that need to be paid attention to on the platform:

✅ Archive for updates related to Flash games

  1. Added AGI1/AGI2 archive bridge, AGI1 and AGI2 Flash game archive functions are now available, and you can use the archive by logging in to your 8bitgo account.
  2. Set up an SFS server to support the normal operation of Flash games with SFS architecture.
  3. Strengthen the Ruffle online ability, and the two-player Flash game theory supports online. This function has not been fully tested yet. Welcome to help with the feedback.

✅ emulator kernel upgrade

  1. Update the NDS kernel: the game runs more smoothly, supports "Rhythm Kingdom", and the game can be played normally after rotating the screen.
  2. Update the PSP kernel: Add streaming, and now support PSP games larger than 1GB.
  3. Realize the transplant of "Plants vs. Zombies" and CS1.6 through Wasm. It can be started normally at present, and the experience will continue to be optimized in the future.

✅ ROM library problem fix & volunteer permission adjustment
The volunteers uploaded the language ROM by mistake before, resulting in all game ROMs only displaying Simplified Chinese. I have manually re-uploaded the game ROM and most of the content has been restored.
👉 if you encounter the game language option still only [Chinese/Japanese], please contact me directly to deal with it.
At the same time, adjust the volunteer permissions: Volunteers can only upload to the personal game library, and cannot edit or delete the main game library resources to avoid similar problems again.

✅ Server migration
After completing the server migration, the new server adopts an elastic architecture to ensure more stable and smooth website access.
⚠️ Tips: After migration, Google and Bing search engine indexing may be temporarily abnormal, which is a normal phenomenon, and will slowly recover in the future.
